Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Salem was drawn in by the prospect of it all. She had just been given permission to question authority—that was what she had wanted all along, after all. She had been questioning the very practice of having an authority figure from the very start. She’d been wondering at it, fighting against it since she was a mere child, and now it was welcomed. What a strange concept it was. The creature was more than excited about it all. Her tail swished lowly at her haunches, and her eyes sparked ever so slightly. They were peculiar, pale and bright in the morning light.

The creature turned to look Tesseract in the face with a simple nod. That was all she really had to offer, that nod. It was something she couldn’t help—excitement. Salem was sick of watching them come and go, and maybe that was why she would hold onto her little thread of hope. Tesseract could be that thread of hope. Yes, hope was that strong feeling, the spark that would light the fire in her abdomen. She could do that. She could embrace it all. It was a big promise, but hope kept her going. Hope would keep her alive for this one. Hope was what did it.

“If you last until fall, the ones that have been here since the start will appreciate you more than you’ll ever know.” There it was, the first speculation. The expression on the ghost’s lips said one thing, and one thing only-- you’ve got yourself a deal.
