Texas awoke what seemed only moments later to a shuffling noise. He yawned and stretched his body out, surveying the ground for the source of the sound. He caught sight of a femme laying along the river. He ####ed his head, looking back at his dragon. Rayven shrugged, leaning back onto the tree trunk. Tex sighed, shaking his head at his friend. He walked to the end of the branch, sinking closer to the ground before jumping off, landing to the side of the resting fey.

"Hello," He greeted her kindly. "I don't believe I have seen you before. I am Texas." He sat, looking down at the other canine. After traveling to all of the territories, meeting somebody that he didn't even slightly recognize was a rarity. He had at least seen everybody, even if he hadn't bothered to strike up a conversation with them. Perhaps she lived in a pack. He hadn't bothered to gain approval to study the pack's land outside of walking the perimeter. Yes, that had to be it.

"My apologies if I'm interrupting you, though I must say, an unfamiliar face is indeed rare. Might I ask what your name is?" His eyes held curiosity and the usual thirst for knowledge. It didn't occur to him until after saying it that he might have appeared... forward. He lowered himself beside her, waiting for a reply.
