He moved with swift fluidity, sweeping along beside his demon-king companion through the heavy sheet of rain. Thunder groaned overhead, sending a chill of pleasure down Devlin's spine. He could feel the excitement growing hot and fast in his belly -- a delirious sort of anticipation that overwhelmed his senses and left his mind seething and reeling. His long legs reached hungrily for every next step, his strides long and loping. It had been such a long time since he had been afforded the luxury of fun -- let alone in the company of another.
Devlin could taste the heavy pull of blood and mucus in the air, and not a doubt passed in his mind as to what Tobias sought. A low rumble rose from the larger male's throat, and Devlin flicked his tongue greedily between his teeth, pulling his lips into an appalling bare-toothed grin.
His tail waved with confidence, a silky black flag hailing his demonic glee -- despite his excitement, he kept himself a stride behind the other, watching to see where Tobias would guide him.
They fell upon the den like silent shadows with gleaming teeth and hungry eyes. Devlin watched as his dark companion clawed and dug at the earth, attempting to widen the narrow entrance to the small cavern beyond. After a moment Devlin circled around behind Tobias and shoved his nose greedily against one of the slender crevices, inhaling the warm scent of tiny bodies that would soon squeak and cry between his teeth...
He began to scratch and claw from a different angle, pausing only to test again with his bent nose, pushing his muzzle as far as it could go before resuming his digging.
