Carden Alvar Nature Board by Bob BowlesWylie Road, etc.

In the mellow autumn afternoon yesterday there were lingering meadowlarks and bluebirds and a phoebe. In several places on Wylie and the south end of Shrike, White-crowned Sparrows were busy. Around the corner, along Talbot River Rd., were a Wood Duck and a kingfisher. Wonder what they're doing in the rain.
