During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

Test My Will, Test My Heart

The femme had felt lost for days now. She had been left on her own longer than ever before. Even though it was only a few weeks it felt like years to the ess. She had never been away from her mother or brother, Rohan, for more than a day or so and it had weeks since she had been with them. If she really tried she knew she would be able to find them, but it was different this time, she knew they didn’t want to be found. She would not hurt her brother or mother by forcing them to be with her just because she was sad and lonely. Maybe this is how Aindreas has always felt… The thought of her other brother hurt her, she had never meant for her family to abandon him. She winced thinking about how hurt he must have been, still be, after what they all did to him. Adara had hoped that her and Rohan could spend time with Aindreas together and all be a family for once, but it looked like that wasn’t going to happen. Everyone had left Aurora’s pack borders and she had no idea what had gone on between her mother and father and if any of them even wanted to try being a family again.

The femme was curled under some trees, the leaves falling around her, landing on her pelt, but she hardly noticed. She was absorbed in her own self-loathing. How could she have abandoned Aindreas, again. Clearly there was something wrong with this family if they all kept leaving each other hurt and alone. She wanted to be strong, needed to be strong, for herself and for her family. She needed to do something, to change, take charge of her own life and not rely on Rohan or her mother anymore. She was an adult and needed to be independent, no longer relying on others to support her emotionally. The silver femme needed to do something drastic, make a big change in her life, something to show the world that she was strong and ready and able to take on anyone and anything.

The silver ess lifted her bodice off the ground, pacing around now, wanting to do something to get her out of this slump that had been plaguing her for so long. In the past she had never done anything without Rohan and she wanted to do something to show that she didn’t need him or anyone. A coldness was inside her, somehow meeting her family had changed her. The femme still loved her family of course, but she had to not rely on others so much, she needed to do things for herself and no one else. A growl came from her chest in frustration. How could her mother, Rohan, and herself have been so selfish these past few years. Living together in one happy family, ignoring the other half that had created them and the other member that was just as important, thinking about it made her sick. Adara shook her thick pelt, bright blue orbs blazing.

Suddenly she was running, running in the direction that Aindreas had left, trying to find his stale scent to try and find his pack. For once luck was on her side. As Adara was loping through the trees she heard a call and recognized it immediately as Aindreas’ vocals. Luckily she had not been far from Munashi Gekko and she was in hearing distance of his call. She ran towards his call, knowing in her heart what it is she wanted to do to start a new beginning. It did not take long for her strong legs to have her at the border of the pack. She paused for only a moment at the border before charging ahead, running straight into the territory towards the call of her brother.

Adara found him at the center of the terra, water dripping of his white form. She paused when she saw him, his eyes the same startling blue as hers. She didn’t know how to greet him, should she embrace him? Just say hello? She wanted to apologize for leaving him yet again, for hurting him all these years, but she didn’t know how or where to begin. Finally she forced herself forwards, approaching her brother, letting her emotion show for only a moment before blinking back the tears that were starting to form in her eyes. She could not show any weakness around any other wolves that may be approaching to Aindreas call if her plan was to work. She leaned her silver pelt into his ivory one, feeling the dampness from the water where she touched him. She nuzzled him affectionately, wishing that the action could show how sorry she was. She sat down next to him, her pelt barely brushing his still with how close she was. “Aindreas…I…I’m sorry I left again. I promise I will never leave you the way we all left you before. I will always be here for you, no matter what. If you will still accept me as your sister.” She spoke the words quietly, not wanting any others to hear if they were to approach soon. She looked at her paws as she spoke, worried that if she looked at him the wall she had worked so hard on building up would come crashing down. After taking a few moments to collect herself she lifted her head, eyes revealing no emotion, chest out with confidence before she spoke her next words, much louder than the last, for anyone else around them to hear. “Aindreas, I plan on challenging Munashi Gekko whenever the alpha arrives. I want to help lead your pack, your home, and make it my home as well.” The femme looked around, waiting to see if anyone else would approach and if anyone else had heard her words.
