Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Oh such grace! Oh such beauty!
And lipstick, and callous
and fishnets and malice

Ahhh Spring was in the air! The air was filled with the scents of flowers as they opened, and so many young creatures just ripe of the slaughtering. Don't be mistaken, Harridan was in no way a cannibal, but baby rabbits! Oh that was a delicacy that she could not say no to. She was older now, and with a little bit of white on her muzzle but there was still that sassy sway to her haunches. Her walk was carefree and confident. She was not the biggest wolf, nor was she the strongest. In fact, she was rather average in everything but that mind and the sharp tongue that went with it. Harridan returned to where she had remembered Moladion had been but nothing looked familiar. She supposed that she could be anxious about it, search around for her children and hang on to the past but that would not be anything that Harridan was ever about. She had followed Caius around for awhile, but she had tired of him and his noncommittal stalking. Thus, she snuck away when she wanted and lost him.

But Moladion was not the oasis that she had been hoping for, although she had only been there a few days. There were new nooks, crannies and all sorts of rabbit holes to fall into. She stretched out from beneath the tree she was under, listlessly she moved to the lake to lap up some water. She was bored and needed to find something to keep her occupied. Or someone. Harridan had been alone for awhile now and was craving some sort of company. The loneliness was not so bad that she would be looking to join any pack. In fact, she hadn't joined any packs since Bloodstone's ladies only extravaganza.

As she raises her head she looks out into the fields with her red-amber eyes. She huffed lightly and groaned about the prospect of actually having to hunt for herself. She was growing tired of her diet of field mice. Even the little pinkies weren't really filling the desire of cute little balls of rabbit. She travels into the fields, her movements actually cautious, quiet and well placed. There were the scents of her prey just ahead of her, and she moved as if she could not wait, a soft whine emitting from her. Suddenly a twig snapped and she saw the fleeting white tails jumping up and away from her. Growling, she turned to face the creature that had so harshly ruined her hunt. Did they know how long it would take for her to get the gumption to actually go hunting again?! "If you could kindly take your big, loud and disturbing feet elsewhere and ruin someone else's afternoon, I would kindly appreciate it."
