Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

(( For Katsumi, Beowulf, Tesseract and maybe a Healer =) ))

Meryl moved across the Diveen without worry or fear. If anything he was excited. Summer had started and he was on his way to go to Spirane to learn from them for the season. There was a lot there that he would accomplish and complete as well as hopefully get some time to get to know his imprint a little better. For someone that had his soul he felt he knew little about her, he knew it wouldn’t be forever for he was so fiercely dedicated to Diveen, but even that little time of being close he felt would be amazing. The meeting in Spirane with her hadn’t gone exactly to plan yet, he still had time to do all he wanted. Today he needed to focus on seeing if Glorall would allow him in to train there, he couldn’t get distracted. There most likely weren’t that diverse of methods and plants given they were simply a river hop away, but he would follow what his teacher wanted.

His Aunt Isola had charged two wolves to go with him, Katsumi and Beowulf. He had met both on other occasions, one being slightly awkward seeing that Beowulf had snuck into his Teachers life slightly. Still she was happy and Meryl would see that she remained that way. Katsumi had a rough birth this season, but she appeared okay. He worried for her as well seeing that strain of the birth, the twisted paw pup as well as the still born coming from her. It hurt Meryl as well. He wished so much there was something he could do for the unmoving child, but there wasn’t. It was hard to accept that as much as he wanted something, to help, he couldn’t.

Meryl waited for the two adult wolves to join him. He sent out his own high boy-ish pitched call, requesting the alpha to come or just a healer. He needed the alpha’s permission but a teacher was really all that was required. Meryl stood silently and waited. He wasn’t afraid, he had two wolves with him and even alone he wasn’t worried. Diveen was just a short call or run away. He would make due for now. All he had to do was wait and see who would come to greet them.
