Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

My dear, it’s true
You’re trouble just like me
We’re black, and blue
& in love with misery.

She content with gnawing on her elk bone, her ivory teeth dragging against the hardened surface as she tries to break little pieces of it off. With her stomach wholly satisfied and her mind at ease, she had no other thoughts to worry her mind, aside from the questions that remained of her family. Very little was remembered of Judila since she was so young, but she did recall the warm presence of her mother and the protective eyes of her brother always watching. She had never minded that he liked to venture out with her when her free spirit had a hold of her, but she did enjoy her time spent alone. Now, she only wished that she was able to see any of them again.

Her time in solitude was enough to keep her pleased, though she found herself slightly desiring the company of another, and without much longer of a wait, a large female appeared from her right. Chey's lips pulled back in a small snarl as the dark femme neared, a warning not to step so closely to she and her prized rib, but the stranger showed little to no interest in her possession and she soon lowered her brash defense. "Who are you?" The blue-gray toned girl questioned with a casual timbre between chewing on the remnant of the elk.

Her light jade eyes flickered up to the brawny looking female for a moment before returning to her prize, happily enjoying it whether the stranger was present or not. It was not meant in a rude manner, though her actions did seem quite primal when compared to those of others, but she only acted as such because she had accepted the other wolf's presence and was now comfortable around her. The pitch hued mistress smelled of salt and ocean and sand - unfamiliar to the river born child, yet a curiosity all the same.
