Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I've got
desperate desires and unadmirable plans

She had slept on the beach last night underneath a big, full moon and thousands of stars as her keepers. Maradona felt the dens near her Mother's constricting and the beach just allowed her to breath easier. It was unexplainable why she felt such anxiousness about the future and the past and her present situation. Still, the vastness of the night had a calming effect on the dark haired child of Tesseract and Caligula. Sand was still in her pelt, and her fur was slightly sticky from her morning swim in the waters. She summer heat was easily eased in the wonder of the cool sea water though the salt when it was all over made her itch. She was in the middle of her next growth spurt, with her hind end higher than her front and her legs seemingly going on for miles while the rest of her was slower to catching up.

Her insecurity about her future seemed to come in waves. At one point she would be happy-go-lucky without a care in the world and then in the next small instance, she would feel the anxiety at being the daughter of alphas and caught within the confines of Glorall overbearing. It was something she struggled with near constantly and yet the open beaches made her feel a little less confined and a little more free. She stretched, and looked around with the navy blue eyes that seemed depthless. The world was extensive but why did she feel so confined?

She moved quietly, and made it a point to avoid her parents and her siblings. There was something that she needed to have answered and she wanted an opinion from someone that wasn't related to her. She moved down the coast and scented the air until she found Chickadee's scent. She desperately wanted to find more and more answers to the innumerable questions that flew around her head so quickly that it was likely to make her dizzy. When she finds the wolf that was meant to be her tutor for the world, she pauses for a moment. Was she ready to express her concerns? No, she decided. She would speak with Chickadee and perhaps eventually tell her what she was feeling lately. She had such an intelligent mind, she was sure that she could figure out her anxieties with enough time. "Good morning, Chickadee. What's today's lesson?" She sat down and wrapped her tail around her legs while she carefully considered her teacher.

will taste of gin and malicious intent
