Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Shimza snorted and glared at the world, her russet eye lids half closed to narrow her eyes in annoyance. It was ll sunny now that she had decided she was going to be mad at it. What a joke. When she was up, the world casted curses. When she was down, it sang blessings. Always the finicky one, wasn't it? Well, now that she had surely scared the prey out of the area with her whining, surely today would go just peachy. After he theatrics, Shimza's ears twitched at the sound of a drawling voice. Her ear pivoted to first, and then her head moved only slightly towards the male's voice as she regarded him out of one eye.

Her gaze was, as his, not unfriendly because she was rather pleased her whining had gotten attention, but it was somewhere between annoyed and disgusted at the unfortunate string of events. She would remain quite sour towards the world until she decide it had redeemed itself. His appearance startled her some. For a moment, she thought he lacked eyes, but realized they were simple black, void of any lively shine. After this, she was aware of the white mask over his face and of his smokey color. His build was similar to hers, though he was more masculine. But uh! Was atrocious greasy fur! There was, despite the common thought (so was Shimza's opinion), a difference between shiny fur and oily fur.

He should groom himself more often. He didn't smell bad, but it would help that soaking coat of oil quite a bit. He must be sad creature, Shimza thought. Of course, she found the whole thing rather ironic as well. A nice sunny moment in the weather and then look here! A nice pocket of depression meant for her to deal with. Great.

Shimza sighed dramatically and slid her front paws forwards as she responded, "Oh, I shouldn't be should I?" She ended in a laying position with her head tucked regally as she turned her head to face him fully, "Life consistently rolls rotten eggs my way. One of these days, you'd think I'd stop being surprised at that rancid reek of reverse in my nose." She paused to give him a chance to react, but she had a mind full of complaints if he showed for even a second that he wasn't going to respond.
