Cafell watched as he seemingly began to stretch though he was hardly comfortable or at least so she was reading from his body language. She couldn't really understand why exactly he was uncomfortable about. He couldn't be scared of her...she was so little in comparison to him. And besides, she was not so scary and hardly intimidating. She tilted her head and her little tail slowed down in wagging. He stumbles over all of his words and she wondered if his mother had taught him to speak correctly. She tries desperately to fight the urge to ask him. Be polite. Isn't that what Mother always tried to impress on her? Nikalie always said that Cafell was full of too many questions. But really, Cafell liked having answers and understanding the world. Like her father. Mother said her father's name was Godric but really, that didn't mean anything to the light sterling creature. She wanted to know who her father was for the morbid curiosity sake. Perhaps she looked like him or had the same eyes. The idea of Godric struck so many questions in her head. Then again, so did Noel.

The silvery slip of a girl before she decided to ignore his nervous behavior. She would be polite, and make her Mother proud of her. Cafell instead decided to force him to play with her. She dashes around him, and nips at his hocks, before bounding to the other side and play bowing again with a slightly comical growl before giggling. She was clearly unable to keep up with a fearsome facade when in reality she just wanted to run around and explore the area. Gone was the thoughts of catching the grasshopper. Instead there was the question as to why Noel did not bounce around and try to bite her hocks or legs. She barks at him, "Don't you want to play with me?"

She didn't understand that he didn't know how to be a puppy. She didn't understand why he was so nervous. There was so much she didn't understand and she was trying desperately to ask less questions. Cafell shifts her weight evenly between her four legs and tilts her head towards him. "Don't you want to be my friend? I want to be yours. I like you, Noel." She tries out his name on her tongue as if it might be there for the rest of her life. Cafell was unassuming and not too demanding. Or at least she was trying very hard to be.
