Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

restless: i found your weakness

She didn't know what it was about her but whatever it was, it managed to push those she wished to be close with, even further away. It had begun with the fire storm that had taken so much from her, and it hadn't stopped there. Slowly but surely, Tesseract and Caligula disappeared; Vidar left, too, though at least she had the comfort of knowing he was safe with his imprint. After that, Ska had been taken from her and now... even her newest children, those born of Paldor, seemed to be somewhat distance. Wraith had already begun to drift about, seemingly drawn outside of Iromar but how could she stop them? As much as she wanted to be so close to them, she could not hold them back. Even then, when she looked upon the lost face of her daughter, she knew she couldn't change what had already happened. After all, how could she expect her daughter to return to Iromar? As much as she did not wish to admit it, Iromar simply was not - and had never been - the place for her. All the kindness from within Ruvindra had seemingly poured into the girl, leaving her too tender for a pack so violent.

"Ska."

She breathed the name out in relief, sighing quietly to herself and allowing her body to relax. She closed her eyes but for a moment, the corners of her lips pulled up into the smallest of smiles. She had been right. It had been her, and now, for the time in almost two years, she could see her daughter once more. Her voice felt good to hear, the cheer and joy within it - at least, Ruvindra could not help but think, the girl did not despise her. After all, she had expected it to be the case. Why would she not? Her youth had been absent of a mother for the most part - as normal as it were for her children, the guilt was no less. She had always been good at carrying children, birthing them, feeding and protecting them but she had never been good at raising them. She smirked at it, the irony of it all before she exhaled finally, opening her eyes to meet her daughter's once more.

"I was never certain if you'd want to see me again."

She smiled, moving forward another pace or two to bridge the gap between them. It was not her place to reach out though, to desire to embrace her daughter; she had wronged the girl, after all.

"All is... well. Yes, it has been good in Iromar despite it all."

It was time to bury her worries and thus, she did. She buried, temporarily, the worry of her children, her mate, her pack, her own life. She buried it all away and forced a toothy smile, her tail waving behind her slowly. It couldn't be helped - her eyes did not once leave her daughter, seemingly fixated on the girl.

"How is... Diveen treating you?"

Her head tilted slowly, though her lips twitched back in a moment of displeasure. It had never stopped bothering her that Vague had run to Diveen for refuge, even after all Heyel and his hoard had done to their family. Had Heyel not stood outside his den and threatened the life of Ska? It had never stopped being a thorn in her side, but it had become a part of her life now. It was just a fact: Ska lived within Diveen, reeked of it all over her pelt. It had been harder to hide that agitation but, she attempted to remain composed as she rocked back slowly, coming to be seated before her daughter as she motioned for her to follow suite. Would she?

"I have wished to see you for the longest time. Have you the time to spare for your mother? It is no issue for me to escort you towards Diveen if night falls."
