Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

I wish you were the one that got away

Voltaire doesn’t speak the words aloud but Caladwen can feel his emotions drift to distance places and lands far away. He is silent for a moment, his intelligent eyes clouding with what she can only perceive to be painful memories. Clearly something happened to him in his past, something painful, something that has truly barbed his heart and that saddens her. Though she has not known him for very long she cannot help but feel a sense of responsibility for him. A sorrowed whine claws at her throat, begging to release but she withholds it, not wanting him to feel as though she pities him. She is almost sure that he would accept it in much the same manner she does, it is just something about him. None the less he responds finally, his words simple but filled with emotion. She does not respond, cannot seem to find the right words to say in regards to his simple phrase so merely offers him a gentle heartfelt smile and moves nearer, stretching her muzzle out to brush her cheek against the slope of his shoulder. There was comfort in her touch, a comfort meant to be shared by the two creatures who have lived such different and yet similar lives.

The silence remains for the briefest of moments between them before once more his gruff tones escape and Caladwen draws her blackened form away from him once more. It would seem that her interest in joining him on his return to the pack has lightened the dreary mood that settled around him for his tail is quick to wag and he seems almost eager to be on the move once more. A wolfish grin flashes across her delicate maw as he informs her that it is a bit of a travel to get to his home. ”Well then let’s get going!” she yips excitedly prancing beside him, suddenly all too eager to be on the move. ”And maybe along the way you can tell me more about your pack… that way it won’t all be totally alien to me when we get there.”
