Cae. male - zero - Iblis x Rhae - no soul & heart - loner |
The little boy knew what imprinting was, which was perhaps a tad uncommon for a wolf of his age- but then again, not all wolves are born to an imprinted pair. Which is exactly what his parents were, or are, wherever his Father happens to be. He watches with wide, mismatched eyes at the interactions of the adults above him. It seemed that the 'demon' wolf had been about to grab him in her jaws, but the stranger, the one he liked, was suddenly there and towering over him. Suddenly he did not feel so small and immediately made to move closer to the male. He feared the worst if the female caught the movement, but when he glanced at her next, he found that she was now completely ignoring him- almost as if the positions had been switched. First she was solely focused on him and ignoring the other, and now it was just the opposite. Which Cae hoped would last for the rest of this encounter. He didn't notice the movement but the subtle pressure of a paw is suddenly against him and moving him toward the dark chocolate stranger.
He is not about to object and aids himself and the stranger by moving almost completely beneath him. The female wolf is then moving toward them and little Cae fears for the worst. Squeezing his lovely eyes shut tight he waits for the worst but the worst never comes. Opening one eye slowly, the bright teal one to be exact, he then manages a quick glance up and over. She is in the dark chocolate wolf's face, speaking words that seem most unkind and yet not. The words are accompanied with a smirk that makes his insides feel cold and has a silent whine coming from his throat. He does not like her, not one bit, and hopes the stranger will keep him safe. But if they are imprints- and it has just happened, Cae does not know what will happen to him. Males feel devotion and would do anything for their imprint- for their soul. What if she wanted him to harm Cae- he knew he would be defenseless against it and would simply have to endure. He had hoped so much for a friend in this stranger- he could only hope his wish would win out that of the dark she-wolfs. |
