There had never been a clear image in Chickadee's mind when she thought of the soul mate she had not yet found; but the moment she saw him, she knew that he was everything she had been waiting for.

Chickadee had been making her way toward the large crowd of wolves when she had seen him. She had frozen immediately, unable to move. Chicky didn't know what, exactly, set him apart from the others -- but it was as if suddenly she could see no one else. A shy smile found its way to her lips and she blushed, glancing bashfully at the ground before bringing her nervous gaze back up to him.

Yes, this was it.. it had to be. Her mind whirled with desire and adoration, her heart fluttered wildly, her eyes saw nothing but him. The feeling was completely impossible to ignore, and equally impossible to describe in words.

It was the snap of a last puzzle piece into its place, or the last tug of a knot which pulled the whole thing loose.

After all her searching, there he was.

Chickadee moved quickly, closing the gap between them with a sudden urgency. All she wanted now was to be close to him, to see who he was, to never leave his side.

She came up to him cautiously, ignoring every other wolf as if they were nothing more than fickle figments of her imagination.

"H-hi," she said softly, tilting her head timidly at him.
