Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

My c o l d desire
to hear the boom, boom,
b o o m of your heart

Caligula largely left the running of Glorall to Tesseract. He had provided a safe place for their children to grow and the land itself was plentiful with game and other wolves to keep the land safe. She had tried to be sociable but it was never her strong suite. It was always Tesseract with the sweet words and charismatic mannerisms that won over the hearts of wolves. Caligula demanded obediance through force, and she fiercely protected the ones that she loved. She was a far more feral creature than the cultured Tesseract. These were the reasons that they made such a great pair. They were opposites and yet worked synnergistically to survive and elevate their status. They were the oldest children of the Traitor Queen and yet they were the only children to make anything of themselves. They would not fade into obscurity. Their names would be whispered for eternity or at least, Caligula firmly believed that.

She approaches the den to find the scents of her sons mysteriously not as strong as they had been. Yet, Vesper's was still fairly fresh. She wondered if perhaps her eldest girls had taken them out for an adventure. She does not worry too much about the boys or really, even about Vesper. Who would harm them here? They were purebloods and they were the children of the Alphas. There was no reason to harm them in Caligula's mind. Still, she followed the scent of her youngest daughter across the lands for a small amount of time before she beheld the silvery slip of a girl with the bicolored gaze. She moved closer, careful to be heard and not surprise her daughter. When she approaches her, she head butts her and licks her face for a moment before glancing about for other wolves. The Glorall pack had given them warm enough welcoming to the throne that all rumored to be cursed, but Caligula had yet to make real connections with those that had lived here before. Perhaps today they would be able to forge such connections.
