News - SUMMER

Summer has arrived. The world has been well at peace, and others seem to be trying to take advantage. They believe we are lazy and complacent. We are no such thing. Remain vigilante, friends and family.

Give your congratulations to Maiko. She has been promoted to Blizzard; she earned it.

We also have an activity check going. Please reply so I can make adjustments accordingly. Check will go for an entire month so we can hopefully capture everyone.

As always, if you have need of me, do not hesitate to find me.

Return to Lunar Children
The Jewel Of Diveen
IP: 24.27.96.14

I have a lot of things to do, like being the most beautiful wolf in all of Diveen. It is a job that I have given myself, and approved by my Father of the Silent Knives. I have no problem accomplishing this, obviously, no problem at all. It is natural to me, after all, to have a pristine pelt of white and silver. I spend all of my time maintaining it, mostly, since I don't need to maintain it all the time. I did, however, decide to take some time to myself to bathe in the sun. It is one of my favorite things to do, that I have learned from my father.

I am very good at finding the best rocks to lay on. I know which kind are dirty and which are clean, and which have the best type of laying space for my size. I had found a good spot, close to the river, since I enjoy being by the river the best. I like the sound of the water, drowning out the sound of my annoying siblings and everyone else who make noise. Yes, I quite like being near the water. It has many advantages that cannot be ignored. Thus, I had found an appropriate spot to soak up the warm sun rays that will soon be disappearing to fall. I had laid down, stretch my growing, pristine form out on my chosen flat rock, and waited for the sun to come out. Because it was going to come out. Because I want to come out. I had closed my eyes, but find myself opening my prussian blues to glare at the sky, who apparently refuses to cooperate with what I wish. Surely, because I want the sun out, it will come yes? These clouds are not want I want. I want the sun. I wrinkle my nose, a look of a snake about to strike on my young visage, aimed towards the annoying sky.

Fine. I will wait. Let it be known, I will one day force the clouds to move aside when I so desire it. I am sure it is possible, because I always get what I want. Most of the time. I snort before I lower my head back down on my rocky throne. I stretch out my limbs before I allow my sapphire blue eyes to fall under the veil of darkness while I wait for the sun to come. There is nothing good to really look at either right now. Just a bunch of other rocks and plants, and not even good plants. Only flowers are worthy of any praise, as flowers are the only plants that even attempt to make themselves look good. They are usually of bright colors, and of more than one color too. They also have a perfume that is quite wonderful. I think I like the flowers that are blue the best, blue like my eyes that seem to glow in the moon and- ..wha...what was that? I snap my eyes open, and I must admit that I sorta slipped off into a thing called a nap. Something had rudely awoken me though, and as I open my eyes I find an unkind snap of my jaws at this perpetrator.

I will find that my jaws do not land on anything. I feel even more little specks of sensation upon my body, and one particularly annoying as it lands on my nose. Oh god. It cannot be. Rain? It has decided to rain? My eyes grow wide as my fur begins to stand on edge, as the drops start to fall faster upon the earth. Damn it. I am no where near the den, and I know what happens when it rains. Mud. Mud is what happens. Pure evil. The bane of my very existence.

I scramble to my delicate paws, lifting my sweet form. I know I need to make it out of the rain as soon as possible, and I make sure to give the sky a good stare down before I then begin to run. I am a rather graceful runner, but I am rather...panicked. The rain is starting to come down faster, and my fur is getting rather wet. This also means the ground is getting wet, and the dirt is going to turn into something more vile than it already is. As I run, I can feel my body tensing up. I can feel my jaw tightening as the rain comes down harder, and then I am in complete horror when I notice my paws. They are starting to get mud on them.

I scream. No, I shriek. My voice crackles through the air louder than any possible thunder, at least to my ears. I keep going, my face completely distressed as I am now drenched and dirty and hate everything. Without thinking, I dash into the first place that looks dry and can fit my young form. I push inside, temporarily relieved as I no longer feel the rain bashing against my pelt. I immediately look down at my paws, and make a noise of high-pitched disappointment. I lift a single paw, seeing the damage done and feeling almost as if I would faint. And then. AND THEN.

My lovely blue eyes raise to see him. Him. I know him. My eyes never forgot, nor does my nose. It is the rude boy. I find my paw falling to the ground, my face wrinkling with displeasure as my eyes are forced to stare at him.

"What da hell es you doing here? You should be leaving now, I es needing dis so I es not getting more mud on my paws, and you was rude when you made me drop flowers, so you can be repaying me now by leaving." I demand, my nose sniffing the air and catching the scent of the rabbit. I wrinkle my nose initially, but I do find that I am sorta...hungry. I don't enjoy eating, I find it rather repulsive and disgusting but apparently I have to eat to live. I find that my stomach growls slightly simply because of the smell, but I do not say anything about, because my hunger is none of his business. I have enough to worry about right now with my fur being a god damn mess right now.
