The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

SKELETOR

The ess walked alone along the border, not the first time she had, but she was. Her ears were perked and her position we in that of a Delta, head spy here. Skele was debating whether to give the spies an evaluation or just have a meeting with them or quite possibly leave them be. She had heard her mother tell her she'd get it after the meeting. Ha. Understatement, Ru couldn't touch her now, she was a higher rank. Not that she cared which she didn't, Ru wouldn't of touched her either way, she would've just took to the trees and stayed there til her mother left her alone. So the rank didn't but did matter in her opinion. She was grateful to Kershov for giving it to her, she'd worked hard. If only her aunt Ivy were here to see her, she'd be so proud of her.

Now, Skele let her paws take her away from the border, the side that wasn't completely destroyed. The multi colored ess moved towards a clearing, looking to red her paws and take in the surroundings like she normally did. Once to a clearing she sat, then lowered herself to a laying position. Skele let her eyes close and then let thoughts and sounds engulf her. Though she was lost in the beauty, she was still quite aware.

Her flustered mind jumped to right after the storm, she had, had short term memory loss, was throwing up her food, and was dizzy. She had come through though. Because mainly of Kershov. He looked like a wolf that didn't care about his pack, but when it came to his army, he cared. He was one of the most caring wolves ever, he was protective too, and loving towards his army sometimes. Skele was happy to have a king like him. A small smile portrayed on her maw as she kept thinking about everything. It was one of the few moments she'd ever show emotion.

Then I lost it all. Dead and broken.
