The silver femme could feel the adrenaline coursing through her veins as she headed towards the clearing where the bloodshed would occur. As she arrived, she prepared herself for the attacks that she knew would be coming from her opponent. An unconscious snarl formed upon her maw, her mind focused on the fight, instincts ready to kick in to help her survive and come out victorious. Anger boiled through her when she watched the dark brute let out a laugh, walking slowly towards her as if he did not see her as a threat. That was fine; the femme would show him how wrong he was to scoff at her and underestimate her. His maw parted as he addressed her, sarcasm thick in his words, “Oh put your lips down, little girl; even the mice of the brittle wheat are not afraid of you.” A grin that did not reach his eyes came upon his kissers. She growled in return, her startling blue orbs glowing with ferocity. The silver warrior did not speak. Adara did not need to defend herself with words, her actions would show him how wrong he really was. Serris came closer to her, speaking once more to the femme, “Are you expected words as to how ‘sorry I am to mess up such a pretty face as yours’? No, my little wench, you’ll get none from me. I hold nothing for you but hatred; even the shadow that clings to my paws despises everything that you are. You’ll get no mercy from me.” Adara expected no mercy from him and she had no intention of showing him that kindness and she expected the feelings that he felt towards her. Her eyes watched him as he spoke, not letting her guard down as vocals tumbled forth from his maw, knowing how quickly some lupines went into their attacks and she would not let him catch her off guard.
Adara was ready when the titan lunged at her. It would take more than a few words to distract her from the fight that was consuming her mind. The silver ess saw him propel himself forward with his hind legs and she immediately crouched low, rolling towards him to protect her vulnerable neck and jugular. By crouching down she was able to keep her balance and tall pillars steady when his bodice ran into hers. Her form turned toward him so that his open maw clamped upon the folds of skin over her shoulders. She felt his ivories tear into the flesh of her scruff as he shook violently when his teeth met their mark as a snarl escaped his throat. Luckily, she had changed her posture enough that he did not reach her jugular or shoulder where she had assumed his original target had been. Adara could feel the flesh of her neck tear beneath his jaws as the first blood began to spill onto her silver pelt. Luckily, the skin of the hackles was naturally loose, and the attack would do little damage aside from the teeth marks. The ebony brute did not hold on long though after he tore into her, pushing himself away from her almost as soon as he had gotten to her. His plume touched the bottom of her jaw as he jerked away from her and out of her striking distance.
As the brute shot away from her she rose back off the ground, shaking her pelt, blood droplets flying off her scruff at the wound that she had already received, a steady stream flowing down her thoracic limb. The fae saw him breathe deeply to catch his breath as a grin appeared on his kissers briefly before a growl escaped his throat. Her icy portals met his as a snarl escaped her as well. One bite, even though it was a bloody one, was not going to affect her fighting and she was ready for whatever he wanted to try on her next. It was only a moment before Serris was on the move again, pacing around her at an easy gait, switching directions randomly to try and throw her off from his plan of attack. He was getting closer and closer to her when suddenly his movement became erratic. One moment he was behind her and suddenly he was shooting towards the front of her. The brute was moving quickly and Adara was doing her best to keep up with him and try to predict where and when he would attack. When Adara thought she had him figured out and that he would again try to attack her front, he suddenly darted towards her, ivories targeted for her hind leg. Before the silver ess could move away she felt his teeth tear into her right pelvic limb. Her instincts were to pull away from the pain, but she ignored that thought and slackened her muscles, allowing her leg to move with the motion of his jaw to prevent even more damage. The brute bit right under her joint, luckily she had been following him enough that she had moved slightly so he did not hit directly on her knee capsule. When the black titan’s head shook she both heard and felt a crack in her leg and a piercing pain. A scream was ripped from her chest as her fibula broke when his jaws shook her leg. Luckily, it wasn’t her tibia, the bone which held the majority of a lupine’s weight. The brute gave another shake of his cranium and Adara felt a painful pull on the stifle joint in the process before he once again sprang away from her. She did not attempt to put any weight on her injured limb, holding it up while she balanced on her other three gray pillars. The tearing sensation she had felt had been the straining of both her collateral ligaments and the cruciate ligaments, which remarkably held fast to her femur, tibia and the now fractured fibula. Luckily, they had not been torn completely, but the pain caused by the injury in addition to the fracture would be immense.
