It seemed quieter here this time, somehow. Maybe it was a slow time in the lands, Mockingbird wouldn't know. But trouble? He could look for some if it was too quiet for his tastes. He couldn't be sure, but he was thinking of finding Risk later. Was Risk still around? Still alive? He hadn't seen his half brother since a little while before Cobryn's murder, so he would have to go looking in awhile. Mockingbird had forgotten all the things they'd spoken about besides the lack of position, the bad parenting of Cobryn, where he had been all this time; the other siblings that had been missing. So many were gone, away now. Hopefully he could look and find them again. Hopefully.

See what was left and go from there. They never went where they should have. They did not get the foothold they deserved. But Mockingbird was willing to collect and try and make a clan out of them. They should have that, at least. They were of good enough blood, most of them. Risk seemed sturdy enough, anyhow. Lancelot had been.. well, strong. Maybe a bit too nice for Mockingbird's tastes, but there it was. Happened. With the right minds to mold, perhaps he could get somewhere with all of it. Mostly that indicated young minds, and Mockingbird had a problem with getting those. None of his own, and it was doubtful he could even have them. Plus, there was the lack of interest in females in that manner as well.

The monochrome brindle kept going through the trees, processing the smells that came to him as he went. If anyone knew him, the particulars of his scent might tell them he was here, but for those who did not know him, the smell wouldn't tell them his gender. That was only a physically seen thing and nothing more. He didn't suppose there was much personality-wise that labeled him as male, since he was just himself. He didn't always give it much thought anymore. There had been a time when it had bothered him to be emasculated by others because of the genderless smell. Lacking proper testosterone, but after awhile he found that being unnoticed for the lack of hormones to to either way wasn't a bad thing. It helped him to sneak around, after all.
