Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ Mae was glad to be spending time with Terrel, her spirits lifted for the first time since he’d left, and going on another adventure with him was quite exciting. She hadn’t been outside Saw Tooth in a long while, even while Terrel was still there, so was glad of the opportunity to further explore Blossom Forest. It was only soon after arriving there that she’d joined the pack and as most of her responsibilities were based within the pack’s terrain she was rarely able to just leave. At Terrel’s comments and laughter Mae’s tail wagged even more as she walked at a brisk pace through the dark tunnel, leading them onwards. It widened up again and she was both curious and worried about what they would find there, but so long as the male was beside her she knew it would be okay. As light filtered through gaps in the wall Mae grew playful, leaping between sun spots when the tunnel became wide enough for them to walk beside each other. “This is a really strange place,” she commented, looking around and catching Terrel’s eye, “Do you think there are tunnels like this going through the whole mountain? Maybe one day I’ll come back and explore them all…” She bound ahead a little but stopped when she heard Terrel yelp, spinning and pinning him with a worried gaze. He was a short way back and she could see he was safe, having just caught his paw on a stray rock, but her heart beat sped up and body froze with panic in the split second before she registered that he was okay. She knew that if anything happened to him, she wouldn’t know what to do. The femme let out a relieved sigh that mutated into a yawn half way through. Apparently the early time left her still tired and the darkness of the cave had increased the feeling. “Do you mind if we rest for a while?” she asked through another yawn, a small whine slipping from her maw at the end of the question as the yawn tapered off. She moved towards one of the walls and circled twice before sinking into a curl. Her eyes looked up at Terrel and for a brief moment she hoped he’d curl up beside her, before she shook the thought from her mind, not wanting to dwell on the strange feeling in her chest or make things awkward between them. He was her best friend and she missed him severely, but he wanted the freedom that life away from a pack provided so she’d take what she could and see him as often as they were able to meet up. OOC: I think the thread can end there, yeah?
