Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

The night air was cool against her dark pelt. Flesh seemed to tingle slightly with each caress of the winds above. Clouds hovered above, half crescent moon seeming to disperse to the point of no return. There is a silence that surrounds her, a wall of security that seems to conceal her inner being. In a way, she felt whole again. Their land was their land once more and none could take that from her. Axel was dead and with him went the pure happiness of long ago. Now, the lands had changed, blossomed just as she had and his bloodline would reign. Slender cranium raises to the sky, baby blues that were once so innocently pale now hard, cold. Although a mere young adult, she was grown, hardened to the point of no return by the constant cause of death and loss. Now, thanks to her brother, growth and renewal could begin. The lands were theirs, the lives and future resting upon their shoulders.

Slender pillars gracefully lead her to where she needs to go and with a low, almost inaudible sigh, she comes to a standstill. Wind rustles through her long fur, oval audits lifted slightly to listen to the deep sounds of this new land. The scents of those who dwell within it fill her nostrils and she wrinkles it slightly, daggers flashing for just a moment before receding once more. Scents fall upon her as well, the scents of Cold Summers and those who have come to call it home. It is a land filled with the bloodlust of the strongest warriors and also filled with a family bond that not even the highest power could break. Invaders had tried recently to come within it and shatter the tranquility, breaking the inner peace that has yet to be found. Caspian made quick work of that though and Odessa could only feel a weight lift thanks to her dear brother.

As if on cue, she can feel him rolling in like a storm. As the wraith forms, Odessa flicks her gaze to him, those oceanic orbs holding an emotion that so few would be able to see. Love. The blood bond between the two alpha’s and the pack mates that dwelled within Cold Summers was something none could imagine. Her stance is calm, tail hanging casually as her body remains still. She watches him appear, takes in the few scars he carries and the deep way his muscles move. He too had changed with them. He was a rock for her and others, a strength when there was a weakness. Upon his coat rests the scent of her beloved sister Sophie. A trace of a smile dwindles upon the corners of her kissers before it disperses. Their blood had come back and although she was battered and bruised, she was home. Her dark mane raises slightly, the thought of the wolves who had done such things to her sister causing a fury to roll within her. With a small snort, she shakes her head, releasing the memories as Caspian comes to stand beside her.

She says nothing, the silence between them hanging like a blanket. It is a comfortable one, filled with understanding and power. They have come to the borders for a reason but it is not a negative one. A proposition one may call it. Odessa allows herself to lean against her brother slightly, the empress’ expression calm as the night wears on. Without turning to look upon the strong features of her sibling, her cool tones slid from her jaws, “Care to do the honors, brother?” These were the moments she had least expected to make memories of. Not once did Odessa believe her world would come crashing down, that all that she had ever known and grown to know would become dust. She did not know that she would become Queen nor the vicious beast she was now. Part of her missed the small amount of pup hood she had. The rest of her said good riddance.

She moves her slender frame from her brothers, head lifting slightly as eyes narrow into the darkness. She waits, auds perked to hear her brother’s call. Then it is time to wait for the meeting will begin.
