Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

It was a curious thing to imagine what Isola might have expected; after all, it was no mystery that Diveen not only held the title for the largest pack but also for the pack with practically all of Moladion allied beneath them. It had been the case with Trenus, too, and yet there always seemed to be one underdog that refused to bend to such a norm - this time, it had fast become Iromar and he couldn't help but wonder if the Queen of Diveen had any lingering doubts as to Glorall's position. After all, Tesseract had remained relatively beneath the radar since his induction into Alpha-ship; he had approached Alcide and no other. Alcide had proven himself once, and they both held firm positions as the underdogs of the pack world; both were small, both family orientated lands. The difference between Diveen and Glorall was vast, and he could not help but be... weary. Being a small pack increased the chance for hings to go awry - had she become offended, Isola could have easily decimated Glorall; if they bent too willingly and too much, they could easily be played the fool. As they stood, he could not help but feel as if he were somewhat balancing on a thin line. Still, he smiled despite it all, a face trained to remain composed even beneath the heaviest of doubts.

Silence did not last long for soon enough, she offered the names of her companions; he greeted each once more with a solemn bow of his head. Maddox and Fathom, two trusted warriors - such information piked his interest, his eyes moving over the two with keen intrigue. Maddox made much sense, for though he stood rather short, he made up for it with a muscular, well furred form. Fathom, on the other hand, appeared sleek and narrow, her figure not exactly inciting the term warrior to mind. Still, they were appraised and their scents remembered; if they were her trusted wolves then he had no doubts he would be dealing with them again at some point or another.

"It is indeed a joy to meet two wolves such as yourselves," he spoke to Fathom and Maddox then, his eyes sliding between the two before he continued with a small smile.

He waited for a moment, ears cupped forward and yet only their silence followed. It would seem, he figured, that they had come entirely to escort Isola. He raised a brow over the notion but said not a thing. If she felt threatened then simply put, it was not his issue and he need not speak on it; perhaps it would make sense for her to wish for such an escort, considering the war Diveen and Iromar had endured some time ago. Besides, perhaps it was not even her doing - even he would have preferred Caligula took escorts with her from time to time. Perhaps Kane was merely being a worried mate as he often found himself being.

Her words were brisk to interrupt his thoughts, his eyes brightening once more with intrigue as his head tilted on an angle. A friendship? He mulled over the thought for a moment, his brows furrowed slightly. The choice of words had been an interesting one and certainly not one he had heard used before in any mention of diplomacy; usually, it was merely an alliance or an agreement of neutrality. Finally, though, he moved to speak, dipping his head and grinning apologetically with a quiet chuckle.

"My apologies, Isola, but your wording has me most interested. A friendship is what you have come to offer? I find myself most curious as to what a friendship as such entitles."

He watched her then, eyes observing each inch of her face for any sign of her inner workings. It was an innocent question, one that he hoped he would have her expand on without any hesitation. Spirane and Glorall were to work on a mutually beneficial agreement, both packs offering to the other their resources and knowledge. A friendship, however... well, it seemed much less business and much more leisure.
