A northern harrier was casing the fields south of the Kirkfield lift lock this morning. Two adult and one adolescent trumpeter swans were in the Grass Creek at the bridge just west of Victoria Road (there were 4 cygnets originally, and 3 were seen recently.) And a flock of about 10 red-winged blackbirds continue to come to a feeder in Victoria Road.
