Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Then the Strongest Heart Grows Old
Sin couldn't help but grin with a contained chuckle as the she-wolf swallowed the grass. He knew she was eating it, but he supposed he had expected she would spit it out when he had commented on it. He tilted his head at the slight incline of her head, slightly confused by it at first, for he had only ever seen this invitation once from his mother, but since all wolves had different habits, he was hesitant to think his assumption was correct. However, her warm gaze was enough to convince him that she would okay if he came closer. He stood and trotted up next to her with a pleasant wave of his tail.

He seated himself a bit off to her right as his listened to her explanation of eating grass. It was simple and Sin felt slightly surprised. He hadn't ever known that grass was good for wolves, who were carnivores. Maybe he would try it sometime. He looked at the grass he was sitting above to consider it a moment. Well... maybe not. It didn't look in the slightest appetizing.

Her comment of young sir made his tail curl a bit. He hadn't ever been addressed in so formal or polite a manner. Her low laughter brought a brighter smile to Sin's lips, thinking the sounds a very pleasant one. She seemed to be a very kind she-wolf. He was happy he had chosen to speak with her. But the feeling was brief because he realized he had forgotten the most important part of etiquette! He had to introduce himself, of which he was reminded of when the lovely Estelle so graciously allowed the mistake to pass.

"Oh! Pardon me, Miss Estelle," Sin exclaimed, though not unpleasantly loudly. He bowed his head as he continued, "Sinclair at your service."

He offered her a charming grin once he had raised his head. Estelle seemed a wolf that Sinclair would enjoy passing time with and he felt immediately that she was an adult he might learn a lot from. There were very few of those, by the way - adults that Sinclair felt he had something to learn from. He had two in his life so far, and Estelle was the third one. He asked her, "Are you a healer - is that why you know about eating grass?"
