Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Watch me fall above like a vicious dove

ISTAS

They don't see me coming, who can blame them?

He was waiting a little impatiently wondering why this business had to be so long. Something about the smell of the pack was so different from the time had had snuck out to follow the party here the first time. Why hadn’t it worked, did they not make peace with the alpha then? He had no idea that it had switched paws a few times since then, he had just assumed his now was folly in those days and perhaps this Tesseract had owned it all along. Istas knew it was his brother he was about to meet and the father of those crazy girls but their scents didn’t match the borders of these lands at the time. It was interesting and the young boy couldn’t quite wrap his mind around it coming from pack that had a very steady leadership. Sure he knew they could change but not so often and suddenly as it seemed Glorall’s had.

He listened as Dimitri’s sarcastic reply filled the air and he couldn’t help but just wonder why he bothered at all coming if he didn’t want to. Istas hadn’t been forced to do anything and the brute’s figure looked a lot like Istas’ own but just less fluffy. Tall and overly skinny not good for much of anything but running around for a long time. Lux had more weight to fight than he did, but at least he looked intimidating. And a bit fun to stare at to boot. Istas found paler furred males were more fun to gaze at, but the rainbow eyes were certainly interesting to the young boy. He didn’t show any sign of acknowledgement when Lux snapped that he, Istas, would be more helpful, perhaps his thick fur had tricked her as it had many before him, but if there was a fight… well he would turn tail and run for the hills. He wasn’t an idiot he would be tossed around like a ragdoll if a fight happened. He hoped it wouldn’t though, he hoped Lux and Demetri both would make this a peaceful meeting so that he could try and find Noel.

Soon the alpha arrived and Istas’ eyes widened as he saw the white form that so nearly mirrored the form of his mothers. His eyes his white pelt he looked just like her. Istas thankfully was rather plain, white pelts were not uncommon over Moladion, it was just his eyes that truly set him apart from any others. White eyes, no pupils. Only he and his father shared this ghastly trait, his brothers did as well, but they had tints to their eyes to show they were there. Istas hardly looked even like that. He set those eyes on Tesseract then, passively curious to the white male and feeing his stomach churn slightly as he looked at him back with the same gaze.

He held his breath waiting until it seemed Tesseract was going to simply conduct his business. He asked for names and Istas wasn’t sure if he wanted to speak up. Not only did Lux tell him not to speak, but he wasn’t sure he wanted this male to know who he was… however, if he wanted in the pack to visit Noel now and then he figured he probably should say.

”Istas.” He spoke his name but nothing more after Lux had said her own, he glaced at Demitri, then looked again to Tess as Lux began the political process. Istas wasn’t sure if this was the route he wanted to go, but he had to do something and fighting certainly would never his forte. So best learn to stop fights before they began right?

They never seem to catch my eye but I never wondered why
