Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

_________________________________________________________________________ Mezic chuckled when he heard the ess’s stomach grumble as he talked about hunting. She must be hungry, and he was too! Hunting with a friend would be much more fun than when he hunted alone like he had been for the past few months. “Yes… we should do that! I am quite hungry… what do you think we should hunt?” He thought for a moment, he was used to hunting small game, rabbits mostly, but he was sure the two of them together could catch something bigger, like a small deer or fawn perhaps. ”If we worked together we could probably catch something bigger than the smaller stuff we would get on our own. Maybe even a small deer! I’ve only eaten smaller stuff like rabbits for a while now.” The brute listened as Apollonia talked about her parents and her amnesia and her still missing father, “Me too! I think I would still be alone if he hadn’t have found me. And he was training me – him and Miss Lolita Ma’am – before he went off to the battle and before I had a fight with her. But I guess I’m sorta alone again. It has been so long… maybe he just won’t return…” An unconscious whine escaped the adolescent’s throat as he worried for Lycaon as well, but really he was more worried for how Apollonia was doing. ”I’m sure he’ll return. He seems like a tough guy and won’t let anyone stop him from coming back, especially when he has you waiting for him.” He smiled again, wishing he had more ways to comfort her. The topic changed from her parents and past back to the femme that Mezic had briefly met, Lolita. “Well… umm…” The ess took a breath before starting again, “She and my Daddy love each other but wouldn’t admit it so I told her to just tell Daddy that she loves him because he loves her and then told her that if she did that, then she could finally be my new Mommy but she told me she didn’t love Daddy and didn’t want to be my Mommy and I fell off the cliff and woke up amnesic again but I remember it all now…” She had to pause for breath, her chest heaving with all the talking she had been doing without taking a moment to breath. When he saw her smile at him his face lit up and he eagerly returned it, a smile easily forming on his kissers. “And I know you will never be mean to me… we are friends! And friends aren’t mean to each other. I guess Miss Lolita Ma’am never was my friend.” Mezic frowned at her words. He couldn’t understand how someone couldn’t be Apollonia’s friend. She was so sweet, nice, and easy to talk to. He hadn’t had anyone to talk to in a while and it was refreshing to find someone else his age that wanted to talk and play like he did. The two teens played for a moment, before the topic of hunting came up again. Now that the brute had talked about food he realized how hungry he was. “Where do you want to go? I went with Daddy and Lolita to Prey Plateau once… Or we can go fishing? Whatever you think is best. I’ve only taken down a fawn before…that’s it…” Before Mezic could respond she was already making her way back down the mountain, slowly and carefully, watching her footing. Mezic followed suite, taking his time instead of charging ahead like he normally would, he didn’t want either of them to fall and get hurt. He spoke as he walked, talking loudly so she could hear him without either of them needing to pause to talk, ”I’ve never fished before, so we can go wherever you’d like, but you’d need to teach me to fish if we did that…” He felt weird admitting that he didn’t know how to do something. He didn’t normally get embarrassed, but he liked this pretty femme, and he didn’t want her to think that he was useless. He ignored his embarrassment and continued, ”That’s impressive taking down a fawn before. I’ve only done that with help from others, never on my own.” He decided to follow her, waiting to see where his russet companion decided to go next. ________________________________________________________________________ |
