I grunted, peeking open my eye to see a fae. I yelped, rolling over and attempting to jump away... only to slip and whine in pain. My side was still bleeding, just not near as bad. I wasn't used to being close to other wolves. Since I couldn't talk, I hesitatingly dragged my paw in the mud to show my words. 'Sorry... I'm not used to being around others.' I wrote. I gulped, my gaunt frame heaving as I weazed for breath. I twitched, feeling as worthless as ever.
