I lay at the edge of the river, the water splashing at my paws. I can see other wolves around me, but i pay no attention to them. I lay my head on my paws, sighing deeply. My mothers words ring in my ears. "Stream, the time has come for you to leave and find a mate of your own."
I had just looked at her, and she looked back at me, her dark blue pools burning into my eyes. Then i had turned around and raced out of the den.
She watched me go.. I thought. She didn't want me to go, but i had to. When I had gotten to Romance River, i immediately lapped at the water that streamed at my paws.
A strong wind blew and ruffled my silver and white fur. I shivered but closed my eyes. Replies: There have been no replies.
