During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

Phantom painted of the whitest pelt floated across the land silently, except for the growl that was let loose from his maw, the only sign that showed that he was real and not a mirage. This was not how it was supposed to go. After he had sworn that he would get revenge on Kalgalath... well much in his life had changed. He had found out that the grey brute with whom he shared his gaze was actually his father and that Kalgalath had come back for him, a concept hard for the ivory titan to understand. Shortly afterward, he had had a family reunion with his mother and siblings... but since that life had taken its course once more. Abandonment continued as it always had. Nika - his mother disappeared after swearing that she would not. His brother, Rohan, had fallen silent and disappeared from his sight. Genisys, after swearing to him her love, had fled from Munashii Gekko, not returning. And then, there was his Lord and Master, the one to whom Aindreas had sworn his eternal loyalty. Serris, who so often fell silent for months, had simply disappeared. Eventually, Adara, Aindreas' sister had shown up at Munashii Gekko as had been the plan. Rohan and Adara were to join Munashii Gekko to join Aindreas with the hopes of forming a family once more. With Serris' continued absence, however, Aindreas had come to the logical conclusion - that the Alpha was never going to return. He had called a pack meeting at which Adara had made it known her plans to challenge for the position of Alpha. Serris clearly had good timing for he returned in a rage, calling Aindreas a betrayer and called Adara his bitch of a girlfriend. If he had cared about Aindreas at all, he would have known and remembered about Aindreas' feelings for Genisys. Would have noticed Adara's eyes and how they matched Aindreas' own. But no. Serris was no longer the Lord that Aindreas had thought he was. His time away from the pack had diminished the loyalty that Aindreas had felt for him, for the brute felt that that same loyalty had been betrayed. Aindreas had been nothing but loyal, and all that he had been rewarded with solitude and silence.

The fight between Serris and Adara had been a vicious one, both coming away with an array of injuries that were in need of long recovery. He had not asked what the outcome of the fight had been, but until he figured it out, he would continue, as he always had, his duties to the pack, travelling around the boundaries of the packlands, scouting for aliens. The titan did not know whether he still had a ranking in the pack... Serris had been angered clearly by Aindreas' apparent "betrayal". But it didn't matter. He had his duties.

His footfalls were silent as he approached a silver fae that came into his visionaries. His arctics lay upon her as he neared her and his icy blue orbs never left her once. No emotion showed upon his face, instead a stoic mask lay there. He had learned better than to show feelings. He was a soldier at heart, made purely for loyalty and for commands. He was not a leader, but a follower. He needed control in his life, and he had become crazy in its absence.

Well muscled haunches folded underneath his form and he studied her in silence, his nares flaring to allow her stench to flow into his vomeronasal organ. It was oddly familiar, but just barely. His mind attempted to push back the crazy that had seeped in during his solitude to analyze it, and within moments he remembered – he had come upon her scent months before at the boundary, but Serris had shone his face so Aindreas had not bothered with her. But now, there was no one and nothing but silence.

He swallowed, attempting to lubricate his vocal cords for it had been long days and nights since it had been used. “You know these lands, don’t you?” If he was right, this was not the first time that she had returned to these lands. There was a yearning in her eyes had he had held when he had returned to Munashii Gekko. He had grown up here and then left, only to return fully matured. “How long has it been for you?” This place was like an addiction… it was impossible to stay away forever. His voice was deep and gruff, but when he fell silent, he merely stared at her unblinking. If she had been here years ago, it was likely she knew his father, or perhaps Kong. Kalgalath had mentioned that his friend had stuck around here until Paranoia had died… but was it possible that there was another from those times returning here?
