The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

Some beings do things for one reason, and others do things for another. Everyone is different in their own way- they hold their special talents, their unique skills. Something that might truly set them apart from all the rest. The only real question was what they would do with said gift. Would they use it for the good of others, for the good of themselves- or for nothing at all? Perhaps they would refuse to even partake in their kill, in their activity and let it go unnoticed. And then there are some that are simply over looked, unnoticed; invisible. And even then- there were some who did such on purpose, and some who did not and it was not something they wanted. Such was they way of life, something cruel, something worthless. Something completely and totally unforgiving. One had to be thick to survive, had to be cunning and ruthless and sly. Such was the way of the regal prowling the thick forest that made up her home. She had returned from yet another of her famous absences, and had saved the grand entrance. The last time, a pack meeting had been in session and it was refreshing to see faces- both old and new. But not too soon after- the land that is Andere became a ghost town and Seline slipped out, unnoticed, undetected- or so she thought.

They might have noted her absence, or they might have not. The only wolves she figured to have actually cared would be her children- but even that only went so far. And then there was Eric, but what exactly was that? What exactly was he? He hid a dark secret, this much the blood and snow Queen knew- but as to what it was she did not know. But she knew she would find out, one day. She always got her way, after all- no matter what. And then there was Calix, her handsome peppered wolf- but he too had slipped away. They were to meet one another in the freelands somewhere, but it had never come to be. It was a saddening thought, this thing of all others disappearing. But it was life, and something one had to get used to. They had to learn how to get through it, regardless of any feeling. Survival was of the fittest, and one had to be sharp and stable in order to survive. It had always been the way. Agile paws of the most pristine alabaster carry her slender frame through the trees, and as she finds herself nearing the border a sudden scent is catching her off guard. The one that had not come to mind- NeMO. He was but a boy, and yet he held so much promise.

She had told him she would train him, and yet she had not. Who was she if she could not carry out a simple task for someone within her pack? Or the Satanican pack, rather. But then again- the blatant lack of Cade's scent was an indicator that Andere currently lacked an Alpha. Or perhaps she would return as well- like Mother like daughter, after all. But it was not prominent on the Satanican Queen's mind in that moment. NeMO was prominent, and she wasted no time in turning her travels in the direction his scent wafted from. She gaine on him easy, her filled out slender legs toned with muscle carrying her frame much easier and graceful than his own. She remained silent, for surely he would know she was there now, and took it upon herself to bank left and arch her path wide around him. Now, she was coming at him from the side instead of the behind, and yet kept within the shadows that surrounded him. She wanted him to find her, to detect her and perhaps reveal her- if he could, that is.

She gave him his chance, and as the moments passed she took her own chance. Dashing forward, years of training, natural grace and agility come into play as she aims her shoulder for his own. Her goal is to knock him back and then to use her slightly larger frame to pin him, her crimson and white coat melding against his own pelt of grey. If she was successful, she would hold him there for several long moments, her venemous jade green eyes gazing down at him, brilliant in their amusement, and a rather wide smirk mixed with a grin upon her features. And yet the right side of her face would always hold the hint of a grimace to it, thanks to a long since passed battle wound for the very forest they were in the middle of. Her upper lip was distorted with scars to pull the skin up, making the blood and snow Queen appear to always have a grimace of sorts upon her features. Call it her forever half-smile, or call it nothing at all. It was not something she thought about often at this point in her life. She didn't actually bother to let him up, and wondered when he would start struggling, if at all.

"Miss me?"
