Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Sinclair
Then the Strongest Heart Grows Old
Sinclair hadn’t ever felt the need to go searching for his biological father. He was content to having nothing to do with wolves that made no effort to care about him. That being said, he did sometimes wonder what sort of relationship he would have with a father. He doubted he would have a sound relationship with his father, for he had laid with Sinopa and not looked back. Thus, Sin had concluded that the male didn’t want to be a father. This conclusion was also why Sinclair felt no curiosity for the wolf. He was fine if one day they met, though he figured that probably neither of them would know the other unless Sinopa was with them to confirm it.

However, such troubling thoughts had faded from Sinclair’s mind long ago because he already had his course of action planned. Today, he was far more interested in the interactions he had and could make. Grendal seemed a nice pup. He was a year younger than Sinclair, but almost one! How exciting! Grendal would be picking a path to follow soon and start training. Sinclair’s waved his tail amiably. He waited a moment, expecting something. But when nothing else was said, Sinclair spoke, feeling rather awkward, “Nice to meet you.”

He wasn’t a natural conversationalist either. Where was Cersei when you needed her?! She could talk his ear off and then Sinclair wouldn’t have to think of a thing to ask. “So… what are you up to?” Sinclair asked, thinking it incredibly lame of him. But, he supposed that Grendal had to have been doing something - even a walk could be talked about. Maybe there was something interesting that Sinclair could tell him about walks that he’d taken around the territory… Wow. Talk about struggling to come up with conversation.
