Announcements as of July 28, 2021

I have called you, and you have answered my call --

Do not mistake my silence for weakness, my forest kin. For I am willing to defend you with my fangs and claws, until the days come when am no longer able to. Keep an eye on the borders for Zelda and her sister Midna, because I will welcome them back into the flock on the day of their return.

The flood has left our forest home in a sorry state of disarray. I shall not tolerate this. Summer is here and we must rebuild our dens in time for winter. There is a lot of hard and dirty work ahead of us. But we shall face it together, as family, as a pack. Let's get back to work and then we shall hunt. I hunger for a feast.

Angel in the Dark

Secrets don't stay secrets for long. Rumors spread like wildfires in Moladion and it wasn't long until Zeteri heard of a large black wolf with strange markings moving towards the new pack that had formed. It was a total shot in the dark, but for the princess it was something. Moving away from Glorall, Zeteri travelled to the forest pack in the north with a heavy heart. Dad had said she was dead and both Kane and Chance seemed to believe him. But not Zeteri. The suborn daughter of Devil May Cry and Kiska would not believe her mother was dead until she saw the corpse for her own eyes. Her life was dedicated to finding Kiska and proving her father wrong. The memory of their last meeting caused the wolfess' heart to throb painfully. He was so confused and angry and refused to even believe Zeteri was alive and standing right before his golden eyes. This had hurt her more than anything. She wished her father would have struck her down with his teeth. When she had been just a naïve pup, Zeteri had been a daddy's girl. The love between Devil May Cry and Zeteri was strong and held fast even when the great skyfall stole everything. Now, however, the gold and black princess felt betrayed and alone. Daddy wasn't there anymore

Perhaps this is why Zeteri moved towards Taviora now. The hope that her mom was there kept her paws moving forward. Kiska had always been kind to her children. Surely that wouldn't change now. Mommy would be there to love and support Zeteri in a way that Dad couldn't now. Though the wolfess was a grown up now, she was still very much a puppy at heart and needed her parents for moral and emotional support. She was capable of taking care of herself in other ways, such as hunting and fighting, but there was still a part of Zeteri that never grew up after the skyfire all those years ago. For a while, Zeteri thought herself to be broken and the only one who would know how to mend her was Kiska. She would be found if the stubborn princess had anything to say about it.

Finally, the wooded pack of Taviora came into view and Zeteri's heart thundered in her chest. Yes, Mom was here, she just knew it! Heavy paws carried the dark wolf towards the border and in her excitement she almost crossed over the strong scent that marked the pack land. Skidding to a halt, Zeteri lifted her muzzle and let go a howl. It was a strange call, a mixture of an adult and a child. The adult called to the alpha, the child to her mother. Would both show? Zeteri waited to find out.
