At least this proved as a distraction of what could have been a very irritating interruption from her... Wallowing. Then again, what was she doing? She should be trying to find her niece and comforting her, even though she had run off with her Rigel before she could do anything about it. She shouldn't be wallowing in her own pity, or even others'; that did nothing to help. What had happened to her younger self? She used to be so optimistic and warm-hearted, not snarling at strangers who were only trying to be friendly and ending up being swept down a river. She sighed sadly, but then snorted. She was doing again just what she shouldn't. And even though the river wasn't very fast or that dangerous right now, she was getting cold.

All these realisations happened in less than a few seconds, and soon she had snapped out of it and was beginning to paddle diagonally towards the bank. She soon emerged from the water, shaking her thick fur off, and looked at the cat pacing, obviously agitated, up and down the bank. Then there was her Tigre companion, smirking at the situation. In a mood as bad as she had been, she would have /normally/ been annoyed, if you could call that normal, but instead began laughing, at the ironic accident and the ocelot's constant apologies. "No, that's fine!" She snorted, rejoicing in the carefree attitude she'd found once again. She managed to contain herself and padded up to the overreacting cat. "I'm Flame Flower. What would your name be? And honestly, it's alright, I know you didn't mean to startle me so much." She smiled, the warm look in her dark eyes was back. The Flame Flower that her Pack alpha, Hayazo, once knew, was back.
