Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

goes the clock, we laughed at fate and mourned her, tick tock goes the clock even for the monster

The fuck is this. Here before her very paws was a bouncing pup. How in the world did this thing get here. An annoyed grimace was smeared along her scarred face, as blue eyes narrowed. A deep growl in her chest rumbled in irritation as she lifted her head looking around for the idiot responsible for this nuisance. Seeing how they were all alone, which was quite convenient, narrowed eyes looked down at the brat. Her torn right ear twitched at the high squeal tone busted out of the little hair ball. She scoffed and lifted her head pointing her muzzle up to the moon, turning her cold stare to Fate, because clearly Fate lived in the sky, wondering just who’s right mind was this to have a child come to her. She felt the small tail of the other hit against her paw and she shook her head looking down. Were all pups here this naive in thinking that strangers would be friendly? Clearly this one has never been in touch with the real world and she was more than happy to welcome the girl into this cruel thing called Life.

Slowly she lifted her right paw and gently placed it against the puppy’s shoulder pushing her towards the bank of the river, not having a care in the world should her paws get muddy. Leaving enough space for her to tolerate the pest’s presence she lowered her dial to the pup’s level moving her own paw back to her side. As she tilted her head to the side the silvery rays of the moon casted darker shadows long the jagged three scars that was plastered on her face. Her cold nose moved back and forth as she caught a variety of scents off the puppy and she quickly snorted and shook her head. Pack. This little pup belonged to a pack…so what in the world was it doing out here in the open…where anything could kill it, and for that matter, what damn packed allowed a pup on the loose? Growling softly she curled her ebony tail, around her forepaws as she struggled at the urge to chase the pup away from her. Sighing some she pointed her torn ear towards the girl as a smooth cold tone dripped out.

“Leave me alone…pup.”

Slowly she brought her neck in, the v-shaped grey fur along her chest was bristled up in agitation as she lifted her head above the pup. Twin radars sitting on top of her skull would swivel for any noise or cry for some adult to spot them and take the pup away. It was not safe for a pup to wander about so alone in the vast wilderness. You never known what monsters could lurk around.
