Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

What a Wicked Game to Play -COZA-

I had been given my first task... several actually. And though most seemed rather mundane, I was well aware that even the most trivial of chores was an essential part of Pack function. Every member of a pack served a purpose, no matter how minute, and for a pack to thrive and flourish each individual must strive to reach their full potential, no matter their status or rank... so that the Pack worked as One collective entity.

I knew this, understood it. I had ambitions I seek to fulfill and hope to prove my worthiness in the eyes of my new Alpha, but regardless of the outcome of my trials, I would do my best by him and his people. And so, I set forth on my first mission with eager steps, long limbs carrying me at a swift pace that ate away the miles between Taviora and the forests of Enocra. I pause only once at the border, letting loose a lovely, haunting nocturne addressed to the Tribe Chieftan, inviting him to join me in my jaunt to the freelands where we might speak privately and come to have a better understanding of one another.

Enocra Woodlands seemed the most logical choice for our rendezvous. With Winter at it's peak, the trees offered sanctuary from the harrowing gales that swept cruelly from the crags and the valley. Their canopies kept the depths of the snow to a minimum and what game was still brave enough to traverse these harsh climes often ventured here for sustenance and shelter. It seemed the most amiable place to have some one on one with Cozscoatl.

Tonight, the moon was in full waxing, an opulent pearl dangled against the cobalt velvet of the stratosphere. I felt in my element, a sleek vexation of predator and poetry. Each muscle flexed and rippled beneath my obsidian corsets, and the moon's silver fingers caressed the stark color, reflecting the iridescent sheen of a raven's wing. Like a wraith I ghost across the landscape, my gait smooth as silk, hypnotic like a belly dancer's. Each paw barely touching down before skimming forward again.

My Samurai King had always admired the way I moved, both on and off the battlefield.

When I reached the woodlands, I darted through the trees, slicing between their trunks with an astute precision. I find a small glade hidden not far within the forest, and it is here that my trajectory finally slows. I come to a halt in it's center, turning in place to wait with a diligent vigil for my Alpha to come to me. My expression is unreadable, but my bi-toned eyes glittered with the zesty flare of my desires.

I contemplate what might transpire here... perhaps Coza and I would take part in a small hunt, or mayhap I will convince him to teach me more of his native tongue. Such a language would be most desirable to know amongst his people, for when delicate matters must be discussed in length, especially in the company of those we are uncertain we can trust.

When finally the alabaster and chocolate male appears, I offer him a dip of my skull, banner giving a single wave, a salute to his station.

"Cozscoatl'" I speak his name exactly how it was first spoken to me. "I would like to extend my gratitude to you, for giving me this opportunity... both to advance my status and to earn your trust. I shan't disappoint." I nod my head resolutely, the determination in my features obvious and boundless.
