Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

I E R O N

Ieron watched as Rogue moved into the cave to rest beside him though there was still a good distance in-between them. He noticed the way she moved, the ferocity of the muscles under her dark pelt and the softness of each step. A beautiful wolf to be sure. Ieron liked what he saw. Once she was comfortable her voice echoed in the cave as she gave her introduction. "Rogue." he said, tasting her name on his tongue. There was nothing sweet about the flavor. Yet another like for her. And now he wondered who "they" were. As a new wolf to the land of Moladion, Ieron knew nothing of the demon clan that resided within the swamps to the south. The deep hatred of the angels and demons went unnoticed by the outsider and that was the way he liked it. There was no point getting involved in the affairs of others. Unlike his younger brother, Ieron would not fight for a cause unless it involved him directly. The brute didn't know that he may already be getting involved with something far bigger than him as Rogue made her first judgments about him.

A light chuckle left the shela's maw as he asked her where she came from. Ears perked up with interest as she told him about this place called Hell. Ieron hadn't really caught on to the fact that it was an actual place as his mind wandered to fire and brimstone. By the look of those venomous eyes, he would certainly believe she was a demoness from Hell. Funny how things worked out like that. As far as first impressions went, Rogue had passed with flying colors. She was a strong, sly wolfess who didn't seem to be afraid to let others know where she came from. Perhaps she had secrets to hide, but they weren't Ieron's business. He liked her. He was impressed. Not an easy task to do. Well done.

Now it seemed it was Rogue's turn to do a little digging. Ieron smiled at her as his tail swished from side to side. He had no secrets. This was a new land who knew nothing about him. Why should he have to hide like a coward? "You would be correct. I come from the deserts of Calien. We had nothing like this," he pointed his muzzle at the snow, "there. The coldest it got was at night when the sand let the heat of the day go but it was never like this. The sun is hot every day, sometimes unbearably so. Just the way I like it. Had I known there would be snow I probably never would have come here." For a moment Ieron let himself go back to the desert as his memories of home came to him. He thought of his younger brother, the little runt, and how he had left the family to start his own life. What an idiot. Their father was growing old and soon the pack would be ripe for the taking. Too bad the old man was still strong enough to fight off Ieron. It didn't help that his sisters and even his mother had helped to chase him from the pack after his duel.

Ieron shook his head as he let himself come back to the here and now. "Never thought I would have to leave my home like Iblis. Oh well, let's hope the summers here are like Hell." he said, glancing at Rogue with a smile. Now that the wind wasn't masking the full force of her sent, the lone male could practically taste the salt that fell from the dark fur. It wasn't a pleasant aroma and he wasted no time in mentioning this fact. "My dear, you smell awful. Where on earth do you live now to have such a scent?" The blunt comment may seem strange to some, but Ieron had never seen the ocean before and didn't know the salty smell came from the waters. Though the scent was alien it did peak his interest yet again as he waited for Rogue to reply.
