Mau bit her lip as she watched Flame Flower float more down the river, but soon she began to paddle back to shore. She let out a sigh of relief as the wolfess reached the shore and shook off her pelt from the cold water. The ocelot waited for the wolf to yell at her or something but the feline was a little bewildered when she started to laugh. She tilted her head, her brown eyes looking a bit confused, but soon she began to laugh a little bit too. "N-no, I just wanted to say hi..." she said with a chuckle, her short tail flicking. "My name is Mau, it's nice to meet you Flame Flower. And that's Tank, back there." she tilted her head towards the bemused Tigre, still laughing quietly at the whole situation. Mau didn't pay any attention to that, though. She was glad that Flame Flower was being nice about the situation, or else she would have probably burst into tears or something. The cat was very sensitive.

Mau smiled at the taller creature, her whiskers twitching. "I'm really glad you're not upset with me!" she squeaked happily. It was true, too. Her voice took on a more inquisitive tone. "What brings you out here today? I'm on my way to a gang called Haven, I don't know if you've heard of it. It's not really a gang, it's a bunch of healers!" she nodded excitedly. "I'm going there to become a healer, I mean, hopefully." Mau finished, giving Flame Flower a sheepish look. "Sorry, Tank always says I talk too much."
