Kyina hadn't realized what he meant by Swordfighter's first question about her scars, so when he mentioned that wasn't what he mean, Kyina blushed and looked at her paws. "Oh, sorry. I didn't... No, they don't hurt. They happened so many years ago they lost all feeling to them. Although, they do make it somewhat difficult to show emotion sometimes. Smiling is almost impossible with them. But no, they don't hurt anymore."

Watching him with eyes that shifted from gray to blue, Kyina thought to herself. He seemed about her age, maybe younger. He is very light hearted too, Kyina pointed out. Swordfighter seemed innocent too. Kyina frowned at that thought. She wasn't innocent, she was trained to kill. She had killed, many times. So many things have happened to her in her past, she was so far from innocent. She was probably the devil's equal in her mind.

When Swordfighter started talking again, Kyina redirected her orbs from his frame to his own orbs. "I picked Spring Grounds because... Well, I'm not going to lie. One thing you'll find about me is that I'm honest. I was mated before. To a wolf named Vladimir. He was ranked in Spring Grounds and at the time I was only an Omega in Saw Tooth, so it made sense that I move to his pack. It was a rough move though... The Alpha at the time was a dictator, and he didn't take to me mating his Beta wolf. After Vladimir died, I just never left. The old Alpha was long gone by then, so I feel safe there. Please, don't feel sorry for asking question. Honestly, I don't mind answering them. It's nice having someone to talk to, I've been so alone..." Kyina looked away at the last sentence. She hated how lonely she felt, but she knew that being alone was best for her. Snapping was so natural to her. Her sanity tipped on a balance beam and just the slightest change in weight could cause her to flip.

Kyina was glad that Swordfighter decided to join her on her walk. He was still wet from his walk through the river, and every so often she could hear the water hitting the forest floor. It was a calming sound, and it had Kyina closing her eyes and breathing deeply. Then she went into the talk about her sire, and everything he had done to her. Kyina hoped that the story didn't scare off the male. She was just starting to enjoy his company. All of a sudden, the brute was falling beside her, and she heard the crack of his chin upon the earth. Ouch, Kyina thought. Turning to face him head on, she lowered her head to his level. "You okay? That sounded and looked painful..." She didn't sound at all worried, in fact she sounded matter of fact. It was like there was no emotion in her voice. The brute chuckled though, so perhaps he was fine. Embarrassed, definitely. But Kyina didn't care about the fall. Not that she didn't care about his health, then again, she really didn't, but she didn't care that he had tripped at all. Shrugging her shoulders, she sat upon her haunches and waiting for him to right himself. She grazed her orbs around their surroundings in the mean time.

When he finally stood, she turned back to face him. Her face held no emotion, it was straight as the horizon upon the sea. He shook himself, and Kyina lifted a paw, as if to hope that none of the mud got upon her already ugly coat. Luckily none of it did and she placed her paw back down. Why was she worried about her coat? Clearly it hadn't been groomed in weeks, so what was a little mud? Closing her eyes, she breathed deeply. The only reason she opened them back up was because Swordfighter began talking again. This time, he old his own story. Out of respect, Kyina listened, but she couldn't help but feel nothing. She nodded every once in awhile, but she didn't show any true emotions. Kyina honestly didn't see what he was complaining about, but she wasn't about to tell him that. She liked talking to him and she didn't want him to go away so soon.

Swallowing hard, she had to say something, and she had to make it sound good. Clearing her throat, "I'm sorry to hear about your family." That's it? That's all she could say? Kyina chewed her lip hoping that he didn't see through her false emotion. Kyina had noticed the accent before, she just didn't think much on it. At least she knew where he got it.

Standing upon her pads, Kyina went back to walking. She was lost for words at the moment.
