Willow was laying at the edge of the river, watching the water slowly gliding past. Her white fur gleaming in the sunlight. She laid her head on her paws, remembering her brother, Talko. The memory flashed in her mind, her brothers bloody fur, his round, blue, blank eyes. She sighed sadly.
It was two months ago, when that grey wolf had appeared. He had said he was their father's friend. Talko remembered his scent. This was the wolf that had killed their father. Talko had stepped protectively in front of Willow, glaring at the wolf. "Run" He has whispered to her. She turned and fled down the path, the grey wolf racing after her, snarling. Talko has lept at the wolf and pinned him. But the other wolf pushed him easily over and bite Talko's neck. He bit it and then raced away. Willow hared back over by Talko, laying next to him sadly. "Please.. Don't die Talko.." Willow whined. "Willow. Run and don't look back.." Talko had murmured and then closed his eyes.
Willow shook her head, trying to dismiss the memory. She heard a splash somewhere nearby. She glanced up and for the sound. She look and saw a brute laying a little bit away.Willow's light blue pools looked away for a second and then glanced back the the wolf. She shook her head again and laid her head on her paws and closed her eyes.
