Hayazo's paws had carried him out of the packlands for the day. Day trips were things that he did often, especially now that the pack was slow. Hanging around his den was boring, even moreso now, that Elias hadn't been around. The pack had seemed rather lifeless as of late, but he supposed it couldn't be helped. Regardless, Hay was paying a visit to Traydon River, just outside of his pack's territory. It wasn't a very long trip, but far enough out that he didn't feel as trouble with pack business. Almost like he was a carefree wolf again.

Being pack alpha came with a lot of responsibilities, it was hard, but Hayazo wouldn't trade it for the world. It made him feel as though he had purpose, that he was doing something to help the greater good. Maybe he wasn't, but at least it felt like something. The grey and white brute walked along the riverbank, the wintry wind blowing against his fur. The river wasn't completely frozen, but ice had gathered at the banks. When Hayazo blew out it was a white cloud, and snow crunched under his paws as he walked.

Hay didn't know if he'd run into anyone while he was out here, but if he did, he certainly wasn't adverse to conversation. The youthful brute was rather full of life, and very friendly. He didn't really act like an alpha, though he did demand respect he was more a of friend to his pack members than a ruler. He preferred to keep it that way, in the end others would be more loyal to a friend than a distant leader. Not only that, pack life with no friends would be terribly lonely and boring. He had spent over half his young life alone, after all. Hayazo sat down on the river bank, looking down into the freezing cold water. Though he appeared to be focused on the water, he was well aware of his surroundings, as he always was. Though he hadn't made any enemies-or so he thought- there were always evil creatures on the mountain who would kill him at the drop of a hat. Hay wasn't too concerned about that, though.
