Nootau felt as if he were falling asleep as he limped behind Godric towards the mountains. Why did he feel so tired? If he had been a healer, then the exhaustion he felt probably wouldn’t be so mysterious. He had battle with Tobias, and received some very serious wounds from the black wolf before Godric showed up and they were able to save the female wolf, Shirakiin from him. He was bleeding badly and after staining himself against the larger, more experience wolf, he was physically and mentally sapped. Still, the feeling was almost new to Nootau, who had nearly boundless amounts of energy.

With drooping eyes lid, Nootau stopped for a moment to look ahead of them. They were in the mountains now. How had that happened? Nootau found himself yawning and too tired to answer his own question, he focused hard on Godric’s tail end to keep himself from being lulled into sleep with the gentle, refreshing breeze that danced through the mountain valleys. The pain that had been so fiery before felt numb now, perhaps since Nootau was on the verge of becoming delirious. He had a nasty tear on his right shoulder, which had been bleeding for hours, and was still seeping blood even through the hardening scab forming around its edges.

Nootau’s muzzle had been bitten and three neat scratches were covered with dry blood over it. His left leg had also been bitten and the teeth marks were deep, though the actual wound was small. The punctures continued to seep small drips of blood, and Nootau’s paw fur was crusty with dried blood that had slipped down to it from the injury. However, Nootau had long forgetten his wounds. He really just wanted to lay down and sleep. He could do that right? Nootau, without consenting to it consciously, sat down and stayed for a while.

Upon realizing what he was doing, Nootau faught with himself to stand and limp after Godric. He had to keep himself distracted, otherwise he wouldn’t make it to Godric’s healing den. To help himself, Nootau asked, “Tell me about Tobias… or about Spirane – it’s a mountain pack, right?” His mind was unfocused, and really, if Godric wanted he could go off on a tangent about any subject and Nootau wouldn’t mind. He just needed somesort of activity to keep him from drifting off into sleep.
