Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

More and more the stardusted angelmarked girl felt the itch within her core to simply move. At first Ambrosia had thought it to be the want to be near others and to be more social- which it could very well still be, but there was even more than that. She could not quite place her paw on it, but there was something that was making her restless. It would probably not be too long before she sought out her Mother on the topic of such matters. For if there was any wolf to help her- it would be Andromeda. The yearling had much faith in her confident Mother, and there wasn't a single doubt in her mind that she would know the right words. It wasn't that Andro could tell her what to do- only she could decide that for herself, but the starcrowned black wolf would always be her first guide.

The thought of her Mother has a certain joy that tends to blossom within her expression igniting, as well as her thick, pristine white tail wagging behind her. It was a lovely spring day, and though the sun was a lovely thing indeed- the canyon that made up most of Diveen contained the heat something fierce. And though she held a light pelt, Ambrosia much preferred the more enclosed, darker confines of the forested area of the territory. Which was how she found herself once again on the border of Diveen, where she had first stepped foot out of her birth place the previous Fall. It was there she had seen the most peculiar boy uprooting what seemed to be a withered and hibernating rose bush.

She had thought about him a few times during the Winter, but had never gone out to perhaps find him again. Her Mother and Father would most likely not appreciate it, and though she was growing every day- her currently short stature meant she had been closer to the snow than others. Which left her to be more easily consumed by the cold. The young white wolf loved the snow, but never ventured too far when it was particularly thick. And now- now it was all melted and butterflies and sunshine. Ambrosia was in the forest again, enjoying the fresh smell of young growth and the soft spring grass beneath her lovely white paws. She knew she was coming fast upon the very border of Diveen- and this time she didn't cease her pace.

Though she was still young, just about a year now, there was a budding confidence within her that enabled her to glide through the forest with ease. And then a scent that has her alabaster ears harking forward. Could it be? Slowing her pace only slightly she lowered her muzzle closer to the soil to better take in his scent. Yes. He had crossed this way- the boy who had taken flight from her. More than a little determined now, she picked up her pace and was upon him quicker than she originally thought. And she almost lost her self composure in a fit of giggles at the sight of him. He was on his back, his silver blue fourm looking most comical in the position with his legs in the air. He looked like he was sleeping, but it was such an odd position that Ambrosia simply had to make sure.

Creeping up to him slowly on silent paws she had learned from watching the older wolves of Diveen- she wasted no time in leaning down to nudge her dark nose against his armpit. Pushing upward a bit with her charcoal dusted muzzle, her bright, intense violet gaze marked with orange and emerald stares down at him in curiosity and wonder. Would he wake, or would he lay still and unmoving? And if he did wake- would he run from her again? And if so- why? She was determined to figure out, and wouldn't take no for an answer.
