Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

goes the clock, we laughed at fate and mourned her, tick tock goes the clock even for the monster

The ghastly figure was moving like a ghost through the valley her with her belly full of delicious trinkets of her latest kill. Silent paws made barely a mark along the grassy pathway. Agile, battle worn, ebony figured sleeked through the tall grasses. Half-torn ear was pointed forward as she listened to the noise around her. The gentle spring howls brought in a slight chill in the air as winter gave away its dying breath. The sound of Mother Nature coming awake, brining anew fresh meat, rewarding those that survived the storm with little morsels. Those said morsels were delicious delicacies. Children from prey animals, their meat, although few, were quite appealing far from the adults. There was blood stained along her v-shaped grey markings that started behind her neck, trickling down her chest. She had just come across a family of voles all tucked away in their burrow, unaware that their life would be cut short. Many creatures were breaking their hibernaculum early, revealing their tasty morsels inside. She had been moving away from the kill site content on taking a walk underneath the waning moon. Cold nose twitched catching the scent of a few lupine, a clear sign that she would not be bothered tonight. Moving up the rocky pathway she carried on with ease, climbing higher and higher, the silver touch from the moon would brighten up her grey markings that covered her legs and body, causing her obsidian coat to gleam darker. Old scars and faded wounds seemed to twinkle brightly, almost like military badges that spoke of valor and bravery, showing all that she had survived everything that Fate threw at her.

As she climbed higher she ignored the feel of the terrain getting rockier not flinching as pads made contact with the sharp rocks below. Her massive head was held high, her glossy ebony tail trimmed with grey swayed side to side in a lethargic manner. She was quite content on her nightly stroll, happy to see that she was far away from everyone else. Never before in her many travels was she accustomed to loner or pack wolves approaching her with such ease, wanting nothing more than polite conversation. It was all so odd to her. Unable to muster up the idea that she could be sociable she tried to stay far away from the others as much as possible. Her uneven pathway had led her to one of the many ledges that were etched within the rocky side of the mountain. Sighing she lowered her head as she sniffed the ground, the area was clean of any lupine scent. Going towards the end of the smooth ledge she laid herself down, her front paws dangling from the ledge as she kept her head up. Cold indigo eyes, speckled with amethyst flecks, narrowed as she looked down below the valley ignoring the small hint of jealous that bounced around her head as she looked at the lupine figures below.
