Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

I am still looking over the snowy lands, my nearly pure white gaze focusing on the border that I crossed when I was still quite young. I wondered if they would welcome me there, if I would be fit to be a Glorall wolf. I had thought that maybe I should go to Iromar, be a part of my own kinsmen, then I remember that I am marked with white and not as pure. I would not be welcome there. I never asked my mother why she had left but surely it had to do with her breeding with my father. She was not happy about it, she would have killed both Alphonse and I if it hadn’t been for Malina and acted as though it never happened. Yet she carried out culture as respect of Malina and tried to curb our behaviors. I had yet to see what monster Alphonse had become, as he was left at Iromar’s doorstep just before the war, for all I knew he was dead because even he was not good enough in the end.

I paused feeling eyes on me my furs prickling my hackles on end. Somewhere someone was watching me, I was ready to attack ready to defend myself surely knowing that out here so close to angel territory I was no longer safe. Then something fast went by me and and I jerked my body just in time to have my back foot pulled and held into place. I was angry that someone thought to attack me, angry at my own unawareness that I didn’t know and angry that everyone I knew that I thought cared about me didn’t. I don’t remember much then, everything went white then to black.

Magnus fell over into the snow growling and ready to fight for his life whatever had grabbed him didn’t puncture his skin and for that he gave his attacker fault for not maiming his leg while he was unaware. A snarl crossed his maw and he attacked like a savage being, his eyes appearing green from the bright streaks being highlighted by the snow. He was baring down towards Viora ready to tear into her to defend himself and protect himself from any pain. The boy lunged down towards her ready to put his fangs into the back of her neck and just before he bit down it was like the lights came on.

What was I doing? I felt her fur go through my mouth and I stepped back seeing the female I had wandered off only to play with in Glorall. She was bigger now, more my size than when we had first met when we were little, but I knew who she was. I never got her name and I wondered what I was doing just before. She looked okay but what did I do, what did I want to do. I shook my head wondering what she would do, I know what I usually did when I had those black outs, or I could infer… But she was okay right?
