Rogue couldn’t recall why the name Ieron had said was so familiar to her. It clearly didn’t matter too much if she couldn’t remember him. He was an insect of some sort buzzing about her head and whatever reason brought on the thought of Ishtar of all the wolves to think about. Rogue shoved that code ignoring wolf away. She had done so much against the code in the months she had started rule. Started a war with the Angels simply because she was ordered too by wolves who had no idea what was going on in these lands. Allowing her son to harm a pregnant wolfess, fighting against those with young pups. Demons did not do that. There were rules and just because others wanted to break them didn’t mean she had too.
She was not meant to be on the throne. Rare marking on not only those approved can take it, and there were few that were. She was mate to Baphomet and it wasn’t even so much official. Then she took on Haedes’ nearly insulting the memory of the Demon King, that though Rogue hated knew he deserved his rank.
Rogue generally couldn’t say she liked Ieron or respected him as she did him, but at least he wasn’t white furred and hard to look at. She had an.. aversion to white fur since angels and him Heartless. He who no longer held her and clawed her that he was gone and she made him dead to her. Ieron however was at least not even close to how Heartless looked and she could tolerate his company much more than she had the white male who had decided to take it upon himself to imprint on her. He was tolerable, perhaps likable but it would take a few more chats for her to find out if she actually liked him enough to be a friend.
He stated that he was interested in going to Glorall though something that caused a smile to sneak onto her maw. Well she liked that. So he would maybe be coming with her to Glorall then? Perhaps maybe even join and get Rogue a little promotion? Well she would have to see. ”If you would like, I don’t mind and I am sure Alpha Tesseract would love to meet a pleasant fellow such as yourself.” She says standing up so that she may guide him to the river pack lands.
”We are not dreadfully far, keep moving, keep warm and keep up.” She said leaping from rock to rock down the ledge, easy on her long graceful legs. She would move swiftly but she did not want to lose him. After all he would be quite useful to her best not allow him to fall too far behind. Ieron would make a good member to Glorall if he chose to stay. Rogue hoped he would, she rather liked having some wolves around that she could tolerate.
