Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Watch me fall above like a vicious dove

ISTAS

They don't see me coming, who can blame them?

The pure white boy was sick of all these changes, the demons, girls, everything! He wanted to prove himself, yet did he really want to be a part of a pack that treated his parents and him like lesser beings? He had white fur he couldn’t help it and though he could be worthy he would never be equal. Always those demons would be higher than him, no matter what rank he took they would be the greater being of the pack. Perhaps Wraith had the right idea getting out of there and with the floods now would be the perfect time to disappear. He almost drowned once after all, what was to say now that Iromar was flooded he wouldn’t again? Istas was afraid of water, terrified after his last experience where some male had saved him and he figured no one would try to help so if he just vanished… well no one would know the only one to miss him would be his mother and maybe his father. He had tried to go to Spirane, tried so hard to make it but that crazy girl tried to kill him. She was mean and scary and psychotic and what would he do. Of course she was deterred by some… okay girl Istas guessed but she only did it because surely she wanted something from him.

Well he would have to let it go, have to figure out what to do if he did leave Iromar. Spirane had that okay girl and Noel living there and Noel was a nice boy. Surely he would help Istas fit in the mountain pack and find a place for him. Then there was Glorall… Really Istas felt he would like to go there if it wasn’t for all that blasted water around. No, Spirane was probably best.

The ghostly boy moves over the fields head low and slinking about like a white shadow. With spring around he no longer blended so easily, but he was still the most silent form of most. Istas’ furry toed feet padded any sound and he moved on very long legs. Topped on that that the boy weighed nearly nothing, he was nearly as silent as a lynx. Those were his skills, that was what he was good at. It certainly proved helpful when he had to run like hell away from that psychotic girl.

Thinking of her he froze at the scent of the pack she lived in, stopping midstep as the thick scent of Diveen passed under his nose. Lost in thought about his skills and what to do with his future he hadn’t noticed the black girl through the brush. She was sitting on a lone island across the stream. Hell no was he even going to go close to her, she smelled of that pack who hurt his mom who tried and hurt HIM. They were bad all of them! He stared at her ready to move on slipping around the brush hoping to remain unseen.

They never seem to catch my eye but I never wondered why
