Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

As the brute told his new friend about the pack that he came from and its old leader the wind began to pick up in the field, a chill blowing through the smoky brute’s pelt. A flash of lightning came across the sky and the creamy ess next to him jumped from the sound of the thunder that followed. Summer noticed that the only tree nearby was the one that they were standing under. One tree in a lone clearing was not a good place to be in a lightning storm, that would be the first target for lightning to hit, and he didn’t want to be around a fire if one were to come about from the storm striking a tree. When he suggested finding shelter Cora nodded and the pair began walking in the direction of the forest, the brute walking protectively in front of the pretty ess.

Suddenly the femme jumped into him and Summer looked back in concern, making sure nothing had hurt her. “Sorry,” she said, but could barely be heard over the loud wind and pouring rain that was pelting the two lupines. He gave her what he hoped was a comforting smile, ”It’s alright. Are you okay?” He didn’t pause his stride as he yelled over the storm, wanting to get them to shelter as soon as possible. He wanted to head towards the trees, but they may not be as safe as he originally thought if lightning were to strike, and the storm seemed very powerful. Trees were the best place to start though as the pair headed towards the forest. The rain suddenly stopped with another crack of thunder and Summer looked towards the dark sky, wondering what made the rain stop so quickly. The relief was short lived though as the wind picked up even heavier than before, whipping the two pelts of the lupines into a tangled mess. The lightning picked up, confirming Summer’s fears that the woods would not be as safe as he hoped with all the lightning that was appearing, seeming to draw closer and closer to the ground, and them.

Summer’s yellow orbs then saw the biggest danger to them, a tornado that was just touching down could be seen past the trees of the forest. Fear tore into Summer, the instinct to run away instant. He turned towards Cora, worry on his face as he saw her see the danger as well. Without hesitating for another minute he steered them in the opposite direction, ”RUN,” he yelled. He nudged her away from the danger if she was not already heading away from it on her own. He thought frantically, trying to think of a place that could shelter them from a tornado. The safest and closest place that he could think of was the Cavern of Secrets. If they went deep into the caves then there shouldn’t be a way for the dangers of the lightning and especially the tornado to reach them. His smoky pelt flew about in the wind as he ran in that direction, staying by Cora’s side as he mentioned his idea, having to yell over the wind, ”We could head to Cavern of Secrets, the caves there should be deep enough to offer us enough protection from the tornado. Are you okay with going there or do you have a better idea?” The brute didn’t break stride as he waited to see what she wanted to do, already knowing he would stick by her side to protect her, no matter what her decision.
