Adara let a small smile appear on her lips. El Aran accepted her, and she was glad for it. She had been traveling alone for too long now, and she was in need of a herd. If this black mare was all she had right now, it was enough. “I hope to.” Adara replied, before breathing in El Aran’s scent, storing it in her mind so she wouldn’t forget.

As the mare explained her new home to her, Adara nodded, paying close attention to her so she wouldn’t have to ask many, if any, questions. She noticed the slight distaste the mare had for the territory next to this one, the Dunes she called it, and the light bay mare wondered why. She wasn’t exactly sure if anyone even lived in the Dunes, and she wondered if she should ask, but she resisted. She could find out for herself easily enough if anyone lived there. Later, though. She needed to regain her strength before wandering too far away from the large oasis.

“I don’t think I’ll leave this area for a while, not until I regain my strength from my travel. It wouldn’t be smart to leave any sooner.” She voiced her thoughts, before glancing around her, eyeing her new home. With El Aran for company, both mares could stay around this area without too much trouble, each keeping an eye out for danger.
