The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

Shrill silence and dark shadows held Havok captive inside of her freshly dug den, enveloping her in thoughts and feelings as she rested just outside the borders of Abendrot. Snarling with a sneer, she gave a shake of her fur as she rose to her paws. A challenge had wiggled into her mind, moderating her actions and thoughts as she readied herself for a fight. Havok had been eating well, and training often as she got into shape. Her bodice was laced in visible muscle structure, healthy, fit and slim. Her instincts had begun to set in, and she was following her cruel nature, practicing her skills every chance she got. Havok was truly readied for a battle to the death.

Havok's reason to challenge was simply that Havok yearned to hold leadership, and thrived on ruling others. The pain helped her feel alive, and brought back her sciences. So here she lay, at the borders of her possible future pack, planning out her words and actions with precision and accuracy. One simple mistake could lead her to shame, or death. Something she could not allow. Not a strand of fear in her blackened heart, she stood to her full height, and headed over the borders. A chuckle of amusement as frightening as it was cruel slipped from her jaws as she rose onto her hinds, raking her daggers down a tree to remark it, and sharpen her lethal tools. Clicking her jaws a few times accompanied by a low snarl, she sat back and stung the atmosphere with a crisp howl, alerting the leaders of what she had in mind. Fur bristled, she pawed the ground with enthusiasm as she waited.

When the acceptor arrived, she would speak in a harsh tone, ears flattening and tail rising above her spine. " I've been waiting for this for a long time. Don't make me wait any longer. I will be at Quarrels Clearing. " she states bluntly, turning around and pacing off, a twisted smile on her maw. With courage and hope locked in mind, she paced for the clearing.
